System News and LTAP Announcements


LTAP Administrators can publish LTAP specific announcements (e.g. upcoming Conferences) and system news/alerts notifiying users of downtimes for the website and also upgrade/enhancement information. These messages are categorized and sorted below describing each alert.

    Looking for a video on the LTAP program, salt brine production, traffic calming, or the 2026 Build a Better Mousetrap winners?

    Visit the PennDOT YouTube Channel and select “Playlists.”  LTAP now has its own dedicated playlist featuring LTAP-related content. The playlist will continue to grow with informational videos covering a variety of safety and maintenance topics, making it easier for municipal officials and transportation professionals to access valuable training and resources.

    The 2025–2026 Executive Summary provides a concise overview of the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) and is an effective tool for sharing program accomplishments with elected officials, transportation partners, and industry peers. The summary highlights LTAP training classes offered throughout the year, participation statistics, and key program performance measures, demonstrating the program's impact on improving transportation infrastructure, safety, and workforce development across Pennsylvania.
